CHASING THE WIND
This dark novella is about an idealistic young man, Jacob, who rebels against the injustices and decay that he sees in his society, a minority tribe, subjugated by an alien majority. He sympathizes with a group that is waging a guerrilla war against the oppressors. Rose, his girlfriend, shares his idealism. His hero, not surprisingly, is Che Guevara. Sadly, he is disillusioned when he finds that corruption is prevalent everywhere. Not to give the endings of any of the books away, but this is the one exception where common ground cannot be found. Readers in countries where corruption and oligarchies flourish will likely draw parallels between their situation and this story.

This book is starkly realistic and tightly written. Compelling reading. The futility of revolts and armed struggles …

One man’s mutiny is another man’s freedom struggle!
What impels a peace-loving individual to rebel against the establishment and take up the arms against the State?
Read the story of Jacob and Rosie. The star-crossed lovers forfeit their love for each other to join the defiant mutiny against the occupiers. Theirs is a do-or-die struggle to save the identity of their minority tribe.
